The nephew of a Tuskegee airman, Tron Williams’ birthright was flight. As a young man, he began a storied career in the US Navy, serving 13 years on active duty and 8 years as a reservist flying the Boeing 737. He stood out as a leader, holding the role of Crew Resource Management Facilitator for nearly a decade, and honed his skills in professional development courses on risk and threat mitigation. In 2012, he landed his dream job at a major carrier, while balancing family and the life of a weekend warrior during his 8 years of service. Today, he is one of the youngest widebody aircraft captains at a major carrier. Beyond his passion for flight, Tron is a consummate teacher and trainer. Having amassed more than 2000 hours as a Senior Instructor Pilot on the Boeing 737 and has flown more than 70 international overwater flights. As an instructor, he also provided situation-based interview (SBI) and line-oriented interview (LOI) training since 2006. Outside of his military career,
Tron supported other aviators through professional organizations including the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals, providing interview prep and mentorship for over 10 years.
As the co-founder of Spitfire Elite, Tron continues to advocate for the underrepresented, with a company whose ethos is strength through diversity.

He used his experience to teach the art of the interview to underclassmen at FSU and coached several students through the interview process.
After 2 years with PWC, Bill served in the Marines Corps for 12 years flying the F/A-18 Hornet. After receiving CJOs from 3 major airlines in 2014, he began teaching his techniques and sharing them with fellow pilots on the base.
